DESCRIPTION:The FBI National Academy Associates\, Inc. (FBINAA) supports the young leaders of tomorrow through the Youth Leadership Program (YLP) by offering qualified students the opportunity to participate in an eight-day program of leadership development. The YLP is designed to offer lifelong enrichment opportunities to youth who have demonstrated above average academic standards and good citizenship in efforts to support these exceptional young leader’s drive for knowledge and their desire to make a difference in the world. In the tradition of the FBI National Academy\, the mission of the FBINAA YLP is to provide a foundation in ethical & moral leadership that encourages our students to further develop the knowledge\, skills\, and abilities necessary to accept the challenge of leadership as a way of life. The FBI National Academy Associates\, Inc. is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is not a part of the Federal Bureau of Investigation or acting on behalf of the FBI. The FBINAA annual YLP is an intense program of classroom study\, physical challenges\, guest lectures\, and leadership experiences. The YLP is limited to 62 students\, ages 14-16\, from around the world who are rising high school sophomores and juniors. The selection process is highly competitive as\, on average\, each chapter is provided the opportunity to send one student to YLP each year. \n  \nApplications can be requested through the Chapter Coordinator\, Mark Gates  mgates@buffalo.edu

DESCRIPTION:Fellow FBINAA Graduate; \nOn Friday June 17\, 2022\, the New York State-Eastern Canada F.B.I. National Academy Associates will host the second “Shoot of 2022”\, the William J. Willett Memorial Shoot. \nCommissioner of Police Patrick J. Ryder cordially extends his welcome to all FBI National Academy Associates members and guests for this event\, which will be held at the Nassau County Police Range\, located at Weir St. Hempstead\, NY.  \nWe have arranged for a training presentation. We will begin at 0930 hours with coffee and networking. \nFollowing opening remarks\, introductions\, and training\, the range will be available for those who would like to shoot. In addition\, those wishing to compete for the Willett Trophy will shoot a competitive course that will be scored.  \nAt the conclusion of training and the shoot\, we will adjourn for buffet BBQ luncheon with refreshments. The total cost will be $50 for active members.   Those wishing to come just for the luncheon at about 11:30 are welcome to do so.  \nThe William J. Willett Shooting Award will be made at that time. DESCRIPTION:REGISTER NOW! \nThe Virtual Yellow Brick Run registration fee is $ 50.00 and includes your race bib\, race T-shirt\, medal\, and shipping costs. \nRemember you have until July 15\, 2022 to complete your Yellow Brick Run.   \nWhat Is the Virtual Yellow Brick Run?\nThe Virtual Yellow Brick Run is a race that you can run\, jog\, or walk on the road\, on the trail\, on the treadmill\, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race) – all at your own pace and time. Make it an event by running with your spouse\, kids\, fido\, Session mates or your entire Chapter! MORE INFORMATION \nWho Can Participate: The Yellow Brick Run is open to ALL\, not just FBI National Academy graduates – so grab a friend\, Session mate\, family member or the entire Chapter to get involved and get moving! \nTimeframe of the Yellow Brick Run: Registration will be open from February 5\, 2022 until June 30\, 2022 or until 1000 participants register\, whichever comes first. Once you are registered\, complete your run by July 15\, 2022. We will be announcing the winners and final results in August.
