FBINAA New York State & Eastern Canada Chapter

Representing members of the FBI National Academy Associates from
New York State and the Eastern Provinces of Canada

This past week, nearly 50 members of the chapter met in beautiful Saratoga Springs for our annual chapter re-trainer. Thanks to the efforts of many, the conference was a big success. We held our first Glock raffle, and the winner was none other than Past President, Tony Raganella. For those who didn’t win, you are still eligible for the second drawing in December, and tickets are still available for purchase. We also had four big winners of JetBlue vouchers, and they were Scott Fraser, Joe DelDuca, Joe Gallucci, and Katherine Leahy. Our 50/50 winner this year was Michael Bonse. Thanks to all who participated in this year’s conference.

Our next upcoming event is the Rockland County Shoot on October 2, and details can be found on the website. The West Point game is sold out for October 11 with 250 tickets sold! The Christmas party will be in New York City on December 4, and registration will open soon.

We are offering each active member the opportunity for a chance to play in a foursome in the Tunnel to Towers Charity Golf Outing in New York City (Staten Island) on November 11. This is the largest golf outing in NYC and supports a great cause. Keep your eye out for a Zeffy link where you can get a raffle ticket for free, but we ask you make the donation of your choice with all proceeds going to T2T. There is a catch – we will select a winning foursome and two alternates and all MUST be active members. We want our chapter to represent that day with active members playing in the foursome.
Our plan for the 2026 National Conference in Niagara Falls is moving forward, and we have assembled a good team of volunteers but need more! Contact Bill Leahy or Scott Fraser and support the chapter to make the 2026 NATC one to remember!

Fundraising for the 2026 NATC includes one of a kind designer pen, a Henry Rifle and a custom inscribed bottle of whiskey with the chapter logo. All these will be posted on the website and emails sent out. Please support the 2026 NATC!

Lastly, if you are interested in joining the Board of Governors (NYC/Albany/Buffalo) we anticipate openings. Please consider taking on this important role but be reminded that it requires a level of commitment to be successful.

I want to wish everyone a happy fall season and look forward to seeing you at upcoming events.

John Rowan
2025 President
